Please sign our petition!!
What have the Romans ever done for us?
The hilarious Monty Python spoof of religious films probably wouldn’t be made today. As much as the film is a parody of life in the first century and of political (and revolutionary) groups of 1970s, it is also a satire of the very same over religiosity which would stop production today. Even so, it was not without George Harrison’s financial assistance that the film was made in the first place after EMI had withdrawn funding. Read the rest of this entry »
