

Shortbread biscuits
These shortbread biscuits are great to serve with Panna Cotta and strawberry coulis!!
Ingredients:
- 175g plain flour
- 110g butter
- 50g caster sugar
Method:
1. Turn on oven 150oC – reg 2, Grease a baking sheet
2. Beat the butter and sugar together until light a fluffy then beat in the flour
3. Bring together by hand
4. Roll out to about 3 mm thick dusting the board and rolling pin with caster sugar if necessary.
5. Cut out biscuits with a heart shaped cutter if you have one, if not a 7.5 cms round one.
6. Place onto the baking sheet and bake in oven for 30 minutes.
This will make about 15 biscuits – store those not used, in an airtight time to keep them crisp.
