Big Wednesday (1978) – Beginning on Malibu Beach southern California in 1962, three buddies, Matt the Enforcer, Leroy the Masochist and Jack  are the best surfers on the beach. They revel in the life of fun, girls, partying and surf, until that is, reality comes crashing in. They are forced to face the consequences of their actions and the changing world around them, not least the draft for the Vietnam War. Years later the greatest swell ever is coming on Big Wednesday.
